Adoption
Adopt a dog from Peja
Every dog we place is vaccinated, sterilised, health-checked and honestly described.
Adoption is not a transaction. We want to know where a dog is going and we stay in touch afterwards. Most of our dogs go to homes in Kosovo, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
How it works
1. Say hello
Tell us which dog moved you, and a little about your home, your days and any other animals.
2. A real conversation
We talk by video. We are honest about temperament, health and what a street dog needs in the first months.
3. Health and papers
Vaccinations, microchip, sterilisation, EU pet passport and a rabies titre test where the destination requires one.
4. Travel
Dogs fly or travel by road with a trusted transporter, often accompanied by a volunteer flying the same route.
5. Landing
The first two weeks are the hardest. We stay reachable, every day, for as long as you need us.
Can't adopt? Foster or sponsor.
A foster home in Kosovo for a few weeks changes a dog's chances completely. Sponsorship covers food and veterinary care for a dog still living on the street.
